Liz Cheney's Ahab-like obsession with Trump

It's existential at this point.  Does she do anything else with her time?  It's like her sole mission in life now is to STOP TRUMP.

When stupid things are said always reach for the most hyperbolic explanations first.  It makes for good political theater.  Technically Trump said nothing about Liz Cheney facing a firing squad for treason.  He was talking about her being a war hawk, an armchair warrior who would not hesitate to put our boys into harm's way.  She's out of office now anyway.  The best thing that could happen to Trump right now is a good case of laryngitis.   Her rhetoric is no better saying this is how dictators destroy free nations.  There could be any number of nutjobs out there right now who could take her words quite literally.  Maybe that's what some on the Left want.  She could've just called him a dumbass and left it at that.  Incidentally in the eyes of the Left when did the Cheneys become less than evil?  Dick Cheney's Halliburton and missing WMD days is more like an original Batman episode, dated but watchable but now the Left has moved on.

We're in the home stretch.  If Trump loses Liz Cheney will have accomplished her mission and hopefully find another purpose in life.  If he wins it will be another four more long and agonizing years for her and the Left.  Pop a Prozac.

  1. Has Diddy endorsed anyone yet? I'm guessing anyone who can get him out of jail.

  2. Maybe a WWF cage cage match - Tyrannical Trump vs Lethal Liz - with timeouts for rallies?

  3. Saw Trump and RFK Jr together campaigning yesterday. Aside from looking like they had the same tanning booth, Trump said Lil Bobby would have a 'huge' role in his administration healthcare. Bobby grinned. Does CDC have a brain worm division? What ever happened to dignity Z-Man? As you know it is normal in cats and not that hard.

  4. Some analysts say the neck and neck polling isn't really that close. The momentum has been with Trump they say. He went on Rogan. Meanwhile Kamala's media blitz hasn't gone that well. There are other things besides polls dignity notwithstanding.

  6. & Obama bailed out Wall Street and the big bankers. Went to town with the drones etc. etc.

That's a real bird's nest BB or a squirrel's nest. Lest we forget then came the pandemic.

  7. Also lots of Mom and Pop stores went under. Call this the Fauci Effect.

  8. Blame the scientist - I blame the microbe. But I agree, the pandemic
ran riot on the economy, no matter who was running the rowboat.

  10. I can see how this can happen. Friday night during a rally in Milwaukee Trump's microphone wasn't working right for a whole hour. He became aggravated and simulated a sex act on the mic......

    Oh the humanity!!!

Pundits said this disqualifies him. You ever been aggravated BB? Spilled some hot coffee in my lap while driving one day. I made up curse words. I combined them. Don't hold it against me.

    1. Aggravated? Indeed - Daylight Savings Time. Got clocks and watches all over the house, some on 24 hour time, some on Greenwich Time, some on Bangladesh Time. Not sure when to eat of go to bed. Dump that stuff - Diddy could run on it and win, ya know?

  12. I know you are serious about conservation, so am passing along info about an area matter. Some Idaho guy was killing Bald Eagles and selling the feathers on the internet. For years. He was charged with
150 identified kills, but they suspect he may have harvested upwards
of 3500. 4 years in jail and $800,000 in fines. He started in 1988 and had an internet store where he bragged about it. Small wonder they were endangered.

  13. Scum of the Earth poachers and people like that.

Few months ago I was sitting on my front porch puffing on my cigar when a clearly identifiable Bald Eagle flew overhead. Probably heading for the Hudson or a stopover at a White Castle. In Yonkers! First time in my life I actually saw one in the wild.

  14. How does one pay $800,000 in fines btw? Maybe his was a lucrative business just wondering how some people pay.

    1. Get a loan from Diddy? Hide out at Amon Bundy's secret place along the Green River below where the Duchesne comes in from the west, just about where the White River enters -up the path to the Book Cliffs and into the box canyon half a mile north? (Oops, did I reveal anything?) Best guess- he will raise cash by exterminating some other endangered species -

  15. American emblem. Ben Franklin thought it should be the turkey (zapped by lighting with his key on a string?). Used to see them on canoe trips. Called one that was screeching in the woods with the
famous BB screech. Came out and hovered over our canoe on the upper Red Cedar River. Says to the Mrs. "don't make a noise like a baby deer, dear". She said "Shut up", eagle left for better hunting.

  16. thinking about the Liz Cheney thing - if a far right very conservative person abandons Trump for Harris, as several have, it means nothing to voters, but bleeds into the History of Civilization. (Ch 93- the year the US went batshit crazy) As your nephew's great grandkids will read. Outside chance we end up in the foot notes- neat

  17. But does that work in reverse? Say some Dems don't like their candidate do they vote Republican? Never seems to work that way though.

  18. Tulsi Gabard? The blue wall statee?

  19. Dr. Phil has his own tv station now and recently interviewed her. Remember he's a spawn from Oprah.

  20. True but it's not like Gabbard started a movement among Democrats.

  21. apparently, a lot of male voters didn't like Kamala. some one pointed out that both elections Trump won were against women. 2nd class citizens?. Any opinion on the fate of Ukraine? Gaza? Yonkers?

  22. Trump is not a neocon and says he wants to end those wars.

Some of the talking heads said white women didn't flock to Kamala in droves. Many black men didn't support her either. Something to do with the price of food? We're not all rich like you.

    1. If not a neo-con, what sort of con is he?

      Delete
    2. I'd say more in the Pat Buchanan mold. America First. No foreign wars. Neo-cons are supposed to be war hawks remember? At the time of the Iraq War the second one right after 9-11 neoconservatives controlled everything foreign policy-wise. Those days are coming to an end now which is why they hate Trump and flocked to Kamala.

  23. Never been rich. I don't spend much, pay for the Mrs. cruises etc, but drive a 2006 pick up and 2011 Traverse and blew $2600 on the dentist this year. Maybe i'll get a cake for my 84th, dunno.

  24. I could go into a store for milk and eggs but always buy other stuff. That recent trip to Urgent Care for what I thought was a UTI but passed a stone a few nights later that racked up about $500 on my Visa balance. That hurt. Joked at work I helped the doctor get a new Gucci handbag.

    ReplyDelete
  25. $500 - probably their minimum, like some sort of entry fee. Maybe
breaks out into overhead $240, materials $1.50, Hippocratic oath maintenance $ 98.50, BP check $50 and the rest miscellaneous, including golf fees. You need a place called 'Not So Urgent Care' please bring your own gurney. Kidney stone - not fun.
