Open mike? Back in military, I went with a Boy Scout troop winter camping in the Wasatch Range. I about froze to death in my tent, but the boys had a walkie-talkie in each tent and spent most of the night in a loud broadcast farting contest. No Eagle Scouts there. Then, the guy that hosted the Howdy Doody show still had the mike on afterwards and pronounced 'that should hold the little bastards' - which was hard on ratings. Given current politics, I have to judge the Taylor and Travis engagement as tame and mundane.
I had to get up to speed on this. Doing yardwork most of the day. A possible transsexual angle to this. How many school shootings do we average per year now?

As near as I can tell, school shootings must be a conservative good?
Re other gun control measures I'm not against many of them but there's one salient point. Criminals don't obey laws that's why they're known as criminals. So maybe they can't get a firearm at Dick's no biggie.
The first would-be Trump assassin had no criminal record either as I recall. The school shooter did leave some kind of social media trail since taken down. Hated religion, hated Trump, leftist kind of politics except for his love of guns of course.
