During his two day testimony before the Senate and House FBI Director Kash Patel claimed Jeffrey Epstein only trafficked young girls to himself. He further said previous administrations looked into the matter and could find no credible evidence that other clients even existed. According to news reports Patel did not read any of the reports himself or interview any of the surviving victims. Now a word from our sponsors......
Kash (Register) Patel is an interesting character. His parents were East Indian, but had lived in Africa for generations, were persecuted there and ended up in the US. Whether legal or illegal (depending on Homan or Cash) they are not birthright. You suppose they are protected by Patel's FBI agents against Homan's ICE agents. He and Bondi have had a few rounds. Surprising, the staff is still on the job -I was sure that some would be let go. What is his stance on feral cats?
ReplyDeleteI was SURE Hegseth would be the first to go after the Houthi group chat debacle. Now word is Kash will either be fired or demoted. Bondi and Co. feel Kash is embarrassing the FBI after he said the first day they got the Kirk killer but it turned out it was some old guy. It sure is an eclectic Cabinet. Like a soap opera.
ReplyDeleteEclectic Cabinet? Rather like a human zoo.
ReplyDeleteBy contrast the Biden Cabinet was so boring the only one I remember is Anthony Blinken. Maybe boring is better. Think Gerald Ford.
ReplyDeleteHow could you forget Janet (No Tariff) Yellen?
ReplyDeleteBeen crazy at work so I have to condensed my thoughts into a digest. Kirk can have thoughhots and prayers from me like the school kids get. Can't remember the last time one of them got a Presidential Medal of Freedom. Trump is back to promising to reduce drug prices 1000 percent which means I will get $160,000 every time I refill my Zenpep prescription. Maybe I can retire early. He has a creepy fascination with Princess Catherine and compliments her looks over and over. He also needs a new makeup artist. Brian Kilmeade is promoting killing the homeless with lethal injections. I guess he's not satisfied with the number that die from overdoses by themselves. At the same time Nancy Mace and some other congressperson want to institutionalize trans people, presumably regardless of how trans people feel about it. Every day we get closer to Putin.
ReplyDeleteThe homeless issue is a bit more complex for me as they do present social problems at times. Do they have the right to encamp anywhere? What about squatters etc. etc. When I did google the Kilmeade comments since I don't have cable my first reaction and still my reaction now is that's a real downright creepy thing to say, very Hitleresque even if he later apologized. The thought process is disturbing.
