ReplyDeleteAnother attempt at doing my own taxes. Reading the instruction booklet. Many things don't pertain to me but read it anyway. Before you know it depending on your situation you need this form and that form and another form leads to something else. A real rabbit hole. You'd be sending your return via FedEx. The complexity is awesome. Sick minds had to invent this. Repeating myself but Trump could make this a hallmark of his second term taking the nightmare out of taxes instead of going after the migrants.

ReplyDeleteThe tax preparation industry. Read on a political forum once the government already knows how much we owe with a few clicks of a button so why do we have to file taxes? Just send the bill out and we can dispute it or not. There are millions and millions and millions of US taxpayers. Picture yourself an IRS agent and you just look at returns all day. I'd hate my job.
Robert Duvall. So many movies so many roles. One of his earliest roles he played Boo Radley in "To Kill A Mockingbird." Later on the lawyer in "The Godfather." Great actor.

UK arrests Prince Andrew over Epstein dealings - here we just pardon them. Latest total of Trump pardons this year = 1600+ Never a dull moment.
ReplyDeletePlumbing problems - daughter in Topeka got flooded basement. $13,000 to run new sewer line, No estimate on replacing the basement cement floor and installing a sump pump. Meanwhile, no water whatsoever. Suggestions?

In fact my late Dad said this to split the difference. He said go forward 30 minutes and leave it alone and he wasn't even a Congressman.
