ReplyDeleteThinking on the events at the WHCD... Whether we like our president or not, I was appalled by what I saw watching it live. Whenever the president is attacked, it's an attack on all of us.
ReplyDeleteI know the White House flacks are saying security did their job and the president was never in danger. But...
To date, they cannot say who shot the bullet that hit the Secret Service agent. Isn't that the first thing figured out? But beyond that, after multiple attempts on his life, why was Trump even there?
If the shooter had instead been a suicide bomber, we'd be watching funerals today. We were very lucky that day.
Now all we have do is figure out what to do if some basement loser dreams up and multiple suicide drone attack on the White House from his garage.
It can happen and the US is totally unprepared.
