Livestreaming public executions (check TV Guide). CNN will carry anything. Botched executions. Trump term becoming like Faces of Death. Give Trump a toga. If you dropped a match on Hegseth's head would it go on fire? (Please algorithm don't report me). IRAN - wrap it up already! Only the Hannitys of the world can afford to fill 'er up. Latest episode of Trump brain neurons misfiring - If you don't refer to AI as Super Intelligence you're the enemy. AI can't even handle my smartphone app. Diddy fighting in prison. What else?
Finally have a financial plan in order. It ain't great but it'll do. Went home after work yesterday and Yonkers Water Bill in my mailbox. Water bill shot way up. Dunno what happened. Now I can't take that bubble bath with the CB. Do I make the check out to AI?
I'm totally disgusted by this. I get the execution, even using a firing squad. But the celebratory mood, especially someone like our Sec Def, who claims to love Jesus, is way out of bounds, does not represent the Christian faith and is plain disgusting.
ReplyDeleteAnd yet millions of Americans will disagree with me. Many millions.
And many millions will watch it again and again. Intellectually I'm against the death penalty but don't talk about it much. Most are for it but to try to sway them would be like trying to hammer a nail with my penis. So I too get it Dave but this is just plain ghoulish and hearkens back to Roman times.
ReplyDeleteThat other case Christa Pike and the botched lethal injection. She has lawyers and wondering where this stands legally. Can they try to do it again?
The Roman Empire and killing for spectacle. I hope the reality of this is not totally who we are.
ReplyDeleteI know plenty of people who are for the death penalty and would not support this. But they will not step up and say so. Because they would lose their friends in MAGA land due to their criticisms of the admin.
Pike is interesting. She's not the first person to have had their execution botched. Then to be sent for "the best medical care available" so we can try and kill them again.
Is it any wonder she, knowing she had small veins, asked for a firing squad, albeit a private one?
Do we really have to kill these folks?
How about we keep them in prison until they are 75 - 80 and payroll them to their families. How many ppl after 75 are gonna pick up a gun and kill someone again.
But our desire for vengeance seems to preclude even that little morsel of mercy.
But it would save states millions.
The last soldier shot by firing squad was deserter Eddie Slovik on Jan 31 1945 in France 1945, so it is a rare thing. Court appeals have already begun on Hegseth's Showcase (Where Trump has the peanut concession). Prior to that, the last execution by firing squad was in the Civil War. Non military firing squads are available in 6 states including Idaho. We predict that in a few years the executions will be AI Robots with machine guns. As for a high water bill, ours went sky high a few hears back and turned out to be a broken inlet pipe from the street.to the house. Not cheap.
ReplyDeleteWill the GeeeZers watch it?
ReplyDeleteOld Trump lost out on the Nobel Peace Prize yet again -

He will have to cry himself to sleep with his teddy bear.
That was a very interesting read.
ReplyDeleteTrump and Hegseth have committed war crimes themselves. No wonder they feel threatened by the ICC and want to destroy it. Noem Bondi and Gabbard all gone. Hegseth stays because Trump and him are both psychotic. Birds of a feather.
