The FBI predestined conclusion re those Hillary emails

Yes said FBI Director James Comey it was wrong and reckless of Hillary to discuss classified and sensitive info on her private servers but you know what?  We're not gonna bring charges.  I call this Charming Rogue Syndrome (not an exact fit because it is Hillary) to describe someone who skirts the law time and again and gets away with it meanwhile Joe Shmoe gets hammered.  Anthony Weiner sends penis pics over the Internet and doesn't have a career.

  1. Comey is an interesting guy. I only know of one other person that double majored in Chemistry & Religion. As a
prosecutor he investigated Bill Clinton's 'Pardon Gate' of
last day in office pardons, and put Martha Stewart in the cooler. His finding involved sloppy work throughout the State Department in terms of electronic security. But sloppy isn't illegal, and though given Comey's legal acumen and judgement, I doubt he considered the brouhaha that could
have made for a felon running for office. (although, probably most that do have some sort of skeletons, ezcept
    old Bern)

  2. Sloppy but not illegal. I'll remember that next time I get in trouble with the law.

    1. Back in my day, classified referred to documents which were stamped. Which meant for dozens of extra
strength safes. Phone calls involved things like "hold off on subject B until approval by ref 7.
Electronic communication adds some complexities, one
'sloppy but not illegal' e-mail I got was the complete
detailed cost rollout on a Titan missile. The hapless
sender pressed ALL, and it went to a few thousand surprised people. I suppose the GOP would like to make a special case of say, Sloppy in the second degree or something, but that would have to be legislated. Far too much taxpayer money has been spent harassing the woman, IMO with nothing to show for it through the years, other than spreading the
baseless hate. On that subject, I had the pleasure of hanging up on a call from the NRA today.

    1. Probably, if she is as bad with computers as me.

    2. You know, I understand military secrets, nuclear secrets; hardware/software/equipment/planning/research,security codes etc,
but I wonder what State Department secrets are.
Only Snowden knows, I guess. Maybe stuff like 'Tony Blair likes peach flambé'?

    3. Comey said while she was extremely reckless she did not intend to break the law. Can the rest of us fall back on this?

  4. Saw "Purge 3" today not so much because I wanted to see it but my friend did. Geez was this movie violent enough and what's with the whole cathedral thing near the end?

    1. Sounds like nightmare material.

    2. Premise is for a night of 12 hours one time throughout the year all crime is legal aka the purge. Ain't my cup of tea but it's developed a cult following and part 3 has definite leftist political overtones. With the purge premise it's a natural formula for countless sequels.

    3. Watched a bit on the congressional hearings with the
FBI chief. Kind of interesting, but I'm not a cult
follower type. Cult Follower- sort of like the guy
that eats at Hooter's several times a week because he likes their food.
