It might be any day now Marines come up the Hudson River to land at the Yonkers City Pier. As I said in my last post the majority of today's conservatives ain't that freedom loving to begin with. Yes I'm looking at you Hannity. They have no issues with the Trump Administration censoring pro-Palestinian speech on campus. They're ok with the Administration monitoring the social media posts of foreign students. They're down with the possible militarization of major US cities in response to the growing ICE protests. No libertarian concerns whatsoever.
One of the first things any would be dictator/fascist does is go after freedom of speech. MAGA is just a bunch of gutless wonders, a cult at this point. In my view Trump is a hater and a joyless prick no matter how FOX News and Dr. Phil try to spin it.

How many of those folks are violent criminals?
Since we are now taking children out of school, that number has to be pretty low, as ppl have been saying for years. People here illegally commit crime at a lower rate than the gringos because they don't want to be caught AND deported.
So since Trump sold his backers on legions of rapists, pedophiles, terrorists and killers, he's stuck, while those folks don't really exist. At least in the large numbers he claims.
This is what happens when policy is made by feelings, gut and instinct as opposed to data, facts and workable objectives.
But... if you read many of the more conservative blogs and commentary, those folks are mostly very happy right now.
It's a sad state of affairs.
As for Reagan, I saw MAGA ppl yesterday complaining about the former prez and his amnesty is responsible for all this. Almost anything will be done to absolve Trump of his sins.
Whether a large percentage or a small percentage the vast emphasis during his campaign was the criminal aliens. Featured prominently during the RNC. It was always deliberately vague what to do with the non-criminal ones. Well I guess now we know.
