I see it as a free speech issue but Trump being Trump wants to protect us.  I see a little Bobby influence here.  RFK Jr. the nation's doctor.  Actually these Big Pharma produced TV ads are so well made you want the drug even if you don't have the ailment.  Guy or gal climbing a mountain at sunrise or kayaking.  Rare side effects may include swallowing your tongue or sticking your head in the oven.  I don't think Trump will ever get to the cost-of-living in his second term.  Too much on his plate.  Maybe he's saving it for his third term.

D.C. police apparently not obeying their ICE overlords so Trump may declare another emergency.   Rubio and Bibi meet in Israel to discuss possible annexation of the West Bank.  Bibi bombing high-rises in Gaza City for no apparent reason.  If the Supremes don't approve of Trump's tariff policy he may have to pay the money back.  Good times.

I suppose I have to talk about it

 I had wanted things to become less contentious around here but it's inescapable.  RFK Jr. being grilled by the Senate.  From the clips I watched seemed mainly about covid and the covid vaccines.  They really built a religion around these covid vaccines so many people were predicting there would be an orchestrated coordinated attack against RFK Jr. by the elites right about now.  In fact there's a leaked memo from Bio about this.  The rest of us have moved on however but some people are still taking the shots.  I'm not sure when full immunity is supposed to kick in maybe after the 17th booster?  I'm thinking there would be at least a public clamoring for a better product on the market by now.  This is not about the public health it's about the $$$$$$.  I didn't want to go down this road again.  Not a fanboy of RFK Jr. but a large swath of the public has lost faith in ThE SciEnCe.  You know it's really weird the Left used to criticize Big Pharma.  Guess times have changed:)

So when does Trump take over Yonkers?

Scanning my daily Trump feed and there's always something that jumps out.  Today it's Trump threatens to take over the city of Chicago.  The possible scenarios I can come up with to justify the feds taking over any police force are scant indeed.  Say 90% of that police force is racist or else extremely incompetent or corrupt.  With Trump policy however one of the cardinal guiding principles is to take the most drastic action first.  To fight crime why don't Trump and Vance just put on superhero capes and come to a town near you?  If this is conservatism then I have tits;)

Judges don't set trade policy

 Federal Appeals Court says many of Trump's tariffs are illegal.  Seems to me trade policy is of no concern to the Judiciary.  I don't personally agree with most of Trump's tariffs but seems to me he has the right to do it.  That power is rightfully and solely invested in the Executive Branch.  The President should have the right to do some things.  Seems to me.  What does it seem to you?

The Trump Follies

Some might say every day but I would say maybe every three days or so I see a strange Trump headline.  It's totally random and without reason.  One day he might outlaw Smokey the Bear.  He might rename a bridge after Melania or build an ICE center in the Grand Canyon.  It could be whatever.  He might wake up one morning and decide the American Triangle is a more fitting name than the Bermuda Triangle.  I've taken some editorial license here but Junior ICE agents might be a real thing.  So now the latest blurb I've seen is the FBI raids the Maryland home of former National Security Advisor John Bolton who served under Trump the first time.  Many times now I just read the headline and don't delve much into the story.  I had thought now that we're into Trump's second and hopefully final term the weirdness would peter out after awhile and we could return to normal governing but no.  The current surreal landscape of American politics.  Like Dali applied to Trump.  It's an art form.

Trump's half-assed Alaskan summit with Putin

 In a weak bid for the Nobel Peace Prize President Trump met with Vladimir Putin last Friday in Alaska.  Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky to meet with Trump tomorrow in Washington D.C.  By all accounts Trump feels Zelensky should cede part of Ukrainian territory to Russia.  This would be like if we were willing to give up a piece of Poland to Hitler.  Judging by Trump and Putin's firm handshake on the tarmac what else could we expect?

Zelensky looks like he shops at Target.  BB once wondered if he even owns a shirt with a collar.  I'd go with at least a light gray seasonal turtleneck would look nice.  One comedian joked he looks like he belongs on the set of Star Trek.  Wonders why he's not taken seriously. 

In other news FL Rep. Anna Paulina Luna told Joe Rogan she believes interdimensional beings exist and that she has seen photographic evidence of a spaceship.  But are they here legally?

Are you better off now than you were under Biden?

 For me no or about the same.  I'm able to cover my bills but they hold me back.  Very little savings.  My health plan sucks.  Went to Urgent Care not that long ago thinking I had a UTI which actually turned out to be a minor stone.  Insurance paid some but I racked up $500 on my Visa.  Helped the woman doctor get a new Gucci handbag.  Oh wait that was under Biden so maybe I can blame him.  I'm sure it's better now.  Getting rid of the illegals hasn't raised my wages according to Homan trickle down or trickle up theory.  Even if you don't view Trump negatively as I do there really is no net positive to Trump being president.  Haven't received my 5K DOGE check yet or $600 tariff rebate or the NYS help me with inflation check promised by Gov. Hochul.  Can't afford major home improvement right now although my roofing guys did fix my attic ladder recently.  What a mess up there too!  Did a migrant make his way in?  Few months back woke up to find a Mexican sleeping on my porch.  Rambling but keep having to put off my cruise promised by Trump.  Weren't we supposed to enter some kind of Golden Age?  Not sure if I step on a rusty nail now if I can still get a tetanus shot.  Have to check with Bobby.  We got serious issues going on and the Left is upset by Sydney Sweeney jean ads.  That's my musing for today:)

The ICE Age

 When compassion, empathy and logic became extinct.  Pondering weird and strange careers or at least those jobs that don't make you feel good about yourself at the end of the day.  Putting animals to sleep in a shelter.  Working in a slaughterhouse.  Abortionist.  Corpse cosmetologist - fairly benign but off the beaten path.  Pornos - said to the Jamaican chef one day do people actually have sex that way and he shook his head no and we both laughed.  So the ICE career I hear they're recruiting.  So say busting into some Latino home and taking away the Grandma and making all the kids cry or shutting down a taco stand and then going home to dinner, playing Xbox or kicking back and watching the game do you get that sense of accomplishment like you helped humanity that day and made the world a better place?  Takes a certain type.

Had to post something today to keep up with the faster-paced blogs.  You know AOC said something and we have to discuss it or Schumer farted on the Senate floor.  Trump's whole second term is just chase down the immigrants.  Could be a video game.  Homan has a good day and goes home and bangs his wife;)

Why the Epstein Files matter

 OK so Trump's name is on the List.  According to the WSJ Bondi told him this some time ago.  A fairly common reaction I'm seeing though is why does it matter?  I'm seeing this at some conservative blogs I peruse from time to time like the Left is using this against Trump and that's all it is but the Democratic chef at work yesterday who hates Trump with a passion also said he's tired of hearing about Epstein and everyone knows he cheated so what does it matter?  There's some serious conflation going on here.  People are putting this on the same level as if Trump made numerous visits to the Playboy Mansion and played polo ponies with Hef and made business deals in the grotto.  Epstein/Maxwell involved sex trafficking of underage girls on a mass scale which by definition involves lack of consent.  It's like I remember some comedian I forget the name and he made fun of what he called Japanese creepy porn and said they look like they're not enjoying themselves.  So with Epstein we were not dealing with high-priced consenting escorts but very young girls probably under duress.

Tired of the Epstein Files?  You risk looking like a perv.  It matters.  The Left had nothing to do with it.  The deification of Trump is weird and cultlike.  We like to deal with facts here.

CDC says American fertility rate at all-time low

 In keeping with the philosophy of natalism Trump is managing this issue by deporting as many people as possible and specifically targeting the group who tend to have the most kids the Spanish.  Do the math.

I don't wanna hear anything more from this Administration about having more kids.

 Just what we need more drama and social unrest courtesy of Hardass Homan and it's gonna get hot too.  It's amazing that they got rid of all the criminal aliens already.  The worst of the worst all gone.  Geeez that was quick!  Now they can focus on the regular aliens.  Mexicans with string trimmers, taco stands, fence installers, gardeners and landscapers, hotel and restaurant workers, construction sites.  Who knows where they'll be sent to.  Some Aleutian island?  BTW what's a Cuban person gonna do in Africa?  Wondering who does the Homan Estate?

 The classics.  Everything but the cost-of-living.  Tulsi Gabbard investigating Obama over RussiaGate.  The claim:  Obama manufactured intel to show Russia interfered in the 2016 election.  That's the one Hillary lost.  Alleged Russian collusion.  Putin wanted Trump to win etc. etc.  We all know the story.  What's that brown stuff on Tulsi's nose btw?  Trump wants Obama arrested but will he deport Rosie O'Donnell first?  Stay tuned.....

 I know at least two people like this.  One at my workplace and the other one a neighbor.  After only a few months into Trump's second term any reasonable person left right or middle would have concerns.  I get the denialism up to a point but something has to give.  Trump sending illegals to places other than their home countries how is this even legal?  Trump now suing the WSJ over its factual reporting on his long-standing friendship with Jeffrey Epstein he's trying to chill a free press and the list goes on.  I'm not big on political bumper stickers but sometimes there comes a time you have to scrape them off.  The Trump cult scene at this point it kind of has the feel of the acid scene in the cemetery in Easy Rider.  I just long for the days when we can get a mature adult of whatever political persuasion in the WH again.  You ever notice Rubio's face?  Every once in a while you get that WTF's going on look.

Chronic moral insufficiency

 Homan bankrupting small farmers in CA through the ongoing ICE raids.  The majority of the field workforce gone in many cases.  The migrant farm workers have either been arrested or are afraid to report to work.  Skilled laborers.  Fruit rotting on the vines.  You I'll be paying more for produce in the near future.  Agriculture Sec'y promises automation and putting Medicaid workers to work in the fields or something like that it's confusing.  As ICE is obviously afraid to go after the criminal aliens we might soon be left with some sort of imbalance.  After Homan's work is finally done they might be the only ones left after all the hard-working law-abiding ones have been deported.  Hannity and Charlie Kirk will be able to afford a bag of cherries.  You won't.

Trump wants DOJ to reveal what Epstein had for breakfast

 Always skirting the issue.  He has asked Pam Bondi to release the grand jury transcripts in the Jeffrey Epstein case even though nobody asked for that.  The Guardian reports that Trump and Epstein were BFFs for 15 years and the WSJ says Trump once sent him a racy card for his birthday.  Other than that they were barely acquaintances.  Trump wants to sue the WSJ btw.  What else is new.

Don't cry for me Maurene Comey.  Daughter of former FBI head James Comey the DOJ has fired her as a federal prosecutor.  She did a half-assed job in the Diddy case.  Not gonna lose sleep.

Trump wants to re-open the legendary Alcatraz to the tune of $2 billion.  Where is the money gonna come from out of his ass?

Can Homan and Hannity be deported to Iceland?

 Homan is a scary dude.  Imagine going home and finding him in your closet.  The next Halloween mask?  So according to the Washington Post there's an internal ICE memo circulating to send some illegals to countries where they're not even citizens.  But doesn't this increase illegal immigration in those countries because they're not even citizens there?  So the cycle perpetuates itself.  Stupid me and my dictionary definitions I thought to deport someone meant to send them back to their home country from which they came.  The Homan game plan only complicates matters immeasurably.  Are atolls in the Pacific included?  Makes no sense.  I don't even think ICE goes after real criminals because they're afraid.  Leave that to real law enforcement.  Oh Trump and Noem will say they do but I think they're more comfortable harassing random undocumented people on farms and in the street.  Basically a rogue agency that Dr. Phil is in love with.  Bunch of amateurs who look like they were just hired walking around in neck gaiters in 95 degree weather surrounding and bothering people.

The media is weirdly uninterested in Jeffrey Epstein

 I get news updates on my devices of course and being a busy man I often just scan them.  A quick perusal however seems to show much of the MSM taking the position of the Trump Administration on the matter of the Jeffrey Epstein Files.  MAGA is in a major rift as you probably heard as what was promised was not delivered exactly.  The media is treating it all as just another fevered conspiracy theory from the Far Right but I would frame it somewhat differently.  Going forward are the customers or clients of a major sex trafficking ring now routinely to be let off the hook?  WHY?  Legit legal question.  Can't be that hard for the federal government to figure out who was in that customer base or at least some of the players.  Diddy too was recently brought to trial on running a sex trafficking ring as well.  He was pretty much acquitted on that but as a theoretical question why was no one else brought to trial just him?  Only the figureheads or alleged figureheads.  It's not the least bit conspiracy-minded to ask such questions.  The media like CNN is framing this as only MAGA cares.  It's time to stop controlling the narrative at the behest of the Trump Administration and just ask simple basic and logical questions.  That's all for today folks.

Strawberry Fields Forever

 ICE agents continue to chase migrants through the fields of farms in CA.  Don't know if this causes cancer but the whole thing gives off a Monty Python/Benny Hill kind of vibe.  No reports of the raping of cattle but the thought occurred maybe ICE is afraid to go after the real criminals.  Better to go after some Tufts University Muslim woman who wrote an op-ed critical of Israel for the student newspaper.  Maybe Charlie Kirk can afford $40 for a head of lettuce.  I can't. 

Continuing fallout from the Jeffrey Epstein Non-Files.  The Justice Department would have you believe they were the Snapchat of sex trafficking.  Data just vanished after 10 seconds or so.  User profiles all gone.  Nada zilch zippo. Deputy Director of the FBI Dan Bongino is thinking of resigning and Kash Patel might join him.  Homan is still going strong however.  It's clear the man enjoys his work.
