Day One of the New Year

A Tesla Cybertruck exploded outside the entrance to the Trump Hotel in Vegas.  Being investigated by the FBI as a possible terrorist event.  Driver killed and a few others suffered minor injuries.  Also a truck plowed through crowded Bourbon Street in New Orleans around 3 in the morning and killed at last count at least 15 revelers and injured 35 others.  42-year old Army vet and Texas native Shamsud-Din Jabbar was the driver and killed in a shootout with police.  Had an ISIS flag in his pickup.  Both the Cybertruck and pickup both rented through the car renting app Turo.  Possible link between the two events being investigated.  FBI thinks Jabbar was not a lone wolf but possibly had terror associates.  NYC and Yonkers recorded their first murders of the New Year.

Not an auspicious start.  It would have been really nice not to have anything to blog about today.  Ease into the New Year ya know?

  1. I thought ISIS was out of business. The press briefing was a mess - more people on the stage than in the press seats. Sugar Bowl delayed.
Probably have combat tanks in the end zones.. Out here, a couple of
cherry bombs around midnight. Then the ferals went back ot work.

  2. Both were Army vets. Both from Fort Bragg. The Vegas Cybertruck guy was currently a Green Beret. A real rabbit hole.

  3. From Yahoo FBI says Vegas Cybertrucker shall we call him suffered from PTSD and so no terror link. Lots of people feel the FBI is engaged in disinfo. They come to the most benign conclusions when they can. At least that's the conspiratorial view.

Can Kash Patel clean up the FBI?

  4. Both dudes were extremely angry also. I gotta stick up for the FBI, having been background checked for my TS clearance, interviewed about friends in the USAF nuclear program, helping with some of their explosives investigations and hosted some in my lab. Professional but normal. I haven't heard the ANTIFA theory yet, but some think they are sneaking around and at the bottom of every thing from floride/water, car accidents, E-Z Pass and $70 lettuce. LIke Julius Caesar said, 'people will think what they think.' Me - gotta sleep at night, ya know? It's already the 4th day of the year, what's next?

  5. You'd make a good G-Man BB. Never question authority or institutions.

You never get to the truth with the FBI. Vegas and New Orleans - both Army vets, both from Ft. Bragg. Both incidents happened on the same day to start the new year. What are the odds? I don't know about Antifa. Haven't heard about them in awhile but keep hearing about the Deep State which many folk are saying are behind everything that happens these days. Not saying I subscribe to that but never heard of Antifa being responsible for fluoride, car accidents and drones etc. tbh. On the other front WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange believes the CIA created ISIS CIA has always been a rogue agency at any rate. Just reporting not stating personal opinions. FBI has lost a lot of public trust time for a change maybe. I never understood the tendency of some to over-trust in government.

  7. An intriguing update - guy had traveled to Egypt a couple years back
and made bombs from 'a rare explosive' never used in the US or Europe. I'm familiar with common and uncommon types from Comp-C to Potassium dinitrobenzofuroxan, but have no idea. Will they say? There are a few with silver, though. Lemee know if you
make a breakthrough. Guy was doing it in his house, probably had pink smoke comming out the chimney.

    1. Which one the Livelsberger guy? Sounds like a cold cut or a cheese.

So that would be Trump assassin seeing on my newsfeeds the Routh guy he visited Fort Bragg over 140 times and stayed overnight there over 20 times. Something in the water at Ft. Bragg?

  8. So when the Cybertruck exploded it did very little damage to the surrounding area. The facade of the Trump building was unscathed. Musk explained because of the design of the vehicle it directed the blast upwards instead of outwards. The man thinks of everything doesn't he.
