An important change to my homeowners policy

I was informed today by mail in addition to my new Declarations Page that there has been a reduction in coverage in my homeowners insurance to wit not covered bodily injury ot property damage caused by illegal animals or pets.  Wild by birth or nature, a bird of prey, venomous or poisonous snakes and reptiles, chimps etc.  What do they think I'm running a zoo here?  BB can have my Great Horned Owl and Copperhead.  When I was growing up I was bitten by a feral kid.  Would he be illegal to own today?  How are the cats doing?

Excuse me while I go feed my Sasquatch.

    Odd homeowners insurance. Must have been a run on illegal animals, poisonous snakes, chimp attacks and vultures? I only used mine once, when some kids looted the bedroom while we were out to eat. Mostly custome jewelry and all my military brass. They settled fairly and I bought a new pair of dog tags for Lieutenant BB. Gotta take those with me while family gets the folded flag after taps. Gimme a couple dozen more years, though.

    Probably a New York State thing. Somebody probably had an alligator or wolverine as a pet. You see stuff on YouTube. Couple owns a pet cougar. Then they stop posting for awhile.

    Seems to be a general trend - insurance up, food up, furniture up. Somebody has to be getting rich.

      Apparently if you own one as a pet and he ruins your neighbor's flowerbed you're not covered. Was this a problem? Do they like Kibbles 'n' Bits?

    Another way to get rich. Start an online shopping site and don't offer refunds when people don't get their packages.
