Forge ahead or cut your losses?

We all make bad decisions in life at which time the most basic simple course of action is to cut your losses, regroup and recover, learn and go forward.  One can easily apply this to the Iran War but I'm thinking of the Republicans here.  The choice is simple and stark.  Impeach Trump now or lose the midterms.

So that's my anti-Trump post for today.  Shame we always have to spend so much time talking about the man.

  1. Seems logical, but logic is rare in politics.

  2. The Republicans have no testicles.

Every day when I drive past the gas stations the prices are always a little higher than the day before. Just based on this alone I don't see the Republicans winning.

  3. Hegseth is the only one happy about the war but then again he's a psycho.

  4. The DC military put on quite a show for King Charles. Better than then Hegseth's Iranian Conquest. Trump spoke nicely about the King. Who wrote the script? Bro in law in Alaska, head of Fed Fisheries in the day, dealt with Sarah Palin. He said she is in Arizona now. Dunno, her husband left and she has been shacking up with an ex NFL player. Would George Washington be amused?.

  5. You mean he didn't threaten to nuke England or take over the Thames?

  6. I see K. Charles is headed to NYC. Is Yonkers ready for sidewalk inspection ceremony ? Will Nurse Nancy swoon?

  7. Been watching Hegseth Inc at the congressional hearing this AM. He needs $1.6 Trillion to rebuild the greatest Army the world has ever seen. Running low on munitions from screwing around in Iran

  9. Interesting that you and I can't spend money we don't have but the government can do it. Would like to see Hegseth go. Maybe Trump will get bored and fire him. Dunno.

  12. Hegseth at congressional hearing says congress, all Dems and some GOP are our biggest adversary in the Iran war - and he needs a Trillion and a half bucks. He notes that he and Trump are protecting us from the Iranians. A lot cheaper to send ICE agents over there?

    1. That being the case can we at least have a gas rebate check?

  13. The GOP won the mid terms yesterday. Louisiana has already canceled their primaries so they can 100% gerrymander their state. TN and KY are prepping their versions.

The Southern states have been waiting since 1965 to get turn those seats white again and now's their chance.

  14. Trump pulled his nominee for Surgeon General after a year. RFKJr's pick had dropped out of medical school. Can she work for ICE?

  15. Never figured what the Surgeon General's job is anyway. To scold us?

  16. Had a good day today. Bought a $45 winter coat today at Kohl's for only 7 bucks. On clearance. Made well over $100 today at a Coinstar and I still have a ton of coins to get to. Gotta be creative to survive these Trump times.

    1. Does it still take pennies?

    2. First time using it Dave. I know you don't have to sort your coins but I separated all my pennies. I also separated all my quarters because they really add up the quickest. Loaded up my two containers, those round containers with lids like if you were buying two pounds of macaroni salad at the deli. So I did my quarters today and nickels and dimes and racked up about $160 after the fee. I have quite a few nickels and dimes to still take. Doing everything in small batches over time. I will do the pennies last of which I have a TON. Will see what happens. I'm hoping the pennies still get accepted.

    3. I still get pennies in change at the liquor store but many or most supermarkets are now rounding off customers' grocery totals. The ripples of Trumpism are felt everywhere.
