Yes the left-wing media doesn't like Trump. Never did. This was really obvious during the campaign. My daily newsfeeds were saturated with anti-Trump stuff. If the media could have gone with Trump ate somebody's dog they would have gone with Trump ate somebody's dog. Having said that Trump has tracked a nuttier course than I would have expected but conservatives are still blaming the msm. Trump lost me after Gulf of America and Greenland. The media didn't make him almost trigger a worldwide recession. Not speedily correcting deportation mistakes. Squelching free speech on campus etc. etc. To paraphrase Flip Wilson's Geraldine the media made me do it. Not good enough. Doesn't wash anymore.
Trump wants to kill PBS. Oldest daughter said well, they are to the left socialists, communists and anarchists. IMO the paradigm shift has been far to the right, leaving many in the middle, many on the right and little on the far left. Greenland, Panama Canal, Gulf of America - what happened. Been watching news today - banner "100 days -1360 left" What a circus - send in the clowns. May your feral feline friends give you comfort (and get their Fancy Feast)

Talking to son in law, a Senior Scientist at Battelle NW Labs at the Hanford Nuclear Site. They have been super DOGEd, laying off hundreds of chemists, physicists and engineers. Turned out most of their contracts were with DOD entities like the thousands of detectors along the border, the people in the A bomb support group and various lasers and AI. After two weeks, most were hired back.

ReplyDeleteElection in Canada today - Trump told the conservative candidate for PM "Hope you win and Canada can be the 51st state". The Liberal guy quickly pulled ahead. Go figure. Geeez stated he is now mad at FoxNews. He seems to harbor a lot of anger.

ReplyDeleteCanada is slightly larger than the USA, so it would be embarrassing for them, us and Greenland. T'ain't gonna happen. (Unless we become their 12 province) Big booster for map and globe sales though.
