This needs to be said.
The Left would like to tax the wealthy into oblivion. As soon as they start talking about wealth redistribution they give off communist vibes. The Left acts like illegal immigrants have the same right to be here as you and me. The open borders crowd. The Left is perceived as being soft on crime. Also anti-religion at times and the list goes on. So now the political pendulum has swung to the opposite extreme of Trump. The Left helped to elect Donald Trump. That and the rest of us bought into the consumate bullshit artist.
Put that in your pipe and smoke it.
He is is own worst enemy. Pondering if he had lost - no Iran, no tariffs, no spiraling cost of living, no Greenland, Venezuela or Bibi suck up. No promises not kept etc. Homan, Hegseth or son in law in charge of diplomacy. You ain't the 'blame everyone else crowd is ya? Cat question- how come our gray tabby likes fancy feast one day and ignores it the next. (I'm thinking the old "presentation'' concept - maybe put a cute napkin and flower by her bowl) ?
ReplyDeleteI AM a partly blame the Left crowd yes. That they are widely known to be weak on certain issues left Trump an opening to exploit. Who can forget the masses crossing the border under Biden.

I think you make Biden into a far greater president than he actually was. Was anyone saying he caused it? He and border czar Kamala Harris didn't control it. People remember the imagery.

ReplyDeletePoint of the post is the Left is too far to the left for most Americans which is how Trump got in. Trump wasn't the right choice but it's what happened.
Idaho farmers can't find field workers, but the Mexican restaurant is still open. Everyone has an opinion and everyone has a reason. IMO, immigration is the least of our current problems.
ReplyDeleteThe comedian Dennis Miller wrote a couple of books of "Rants." He tackled a variety of subjects with strong opinions but always added a disclaimer at the end of each rant - "That's just my opinion. I could be wrong." I like that.
ReplyDeleteZ-man... some on the left are too far left. Many are left of center, but while I know a few open borders ppl, they are not the majority. Most ppl know the deal on immigration, even of the politicans refuse to acknowledge it...
ReplyDeleteA strong, enforceable border and everyone here, legal or illegal, gets a path to a green card or citizenship, provided they are not criminals, outside of immigration, are willing to pay a fine and will learn English.
That's the deal. 80% of evangelical pastors and their congregants want it. The left will take it. The right? You tell me.
Most of the left is not hip with late term abortions either. 1st trimester? Absolutely. 2nd? Probably with restrictions. But the push now on the right is to cut access to contraceptives, favoring natural, calendar or withdrawal contraceptive methods. Think I'm wrong? Google it. The admin is moving ahead on this.
Energy? The left supports alternative fuels, solar AND oil. And so do most regular people.
Higher taxes? Yes on that, but I think I left that comment on an earlier post.
It kind of blows my mind in this era of advanced birth control (take your pick) so many people are still going to the abortion clinic. If anything it's an inconvenience no? As for taxes the opposite thinking goes the less taxes people have to pay the more money they will spend to boost the economy. More trips to Target. I voted for Trump because I thought he'd deport the criminal aliens and find another solution for the rest. Honestly.
DeleteTrump began as some sort of Democrat. There is even some Letterman clip of a younger Trump extolling the health care system of some Scandinavian country I think it was. I don't know why he's made such a hard turn to the Right.
The withdrawal method? Like what kind of time warp are we in? They used to make jokes about that. Where does the jizm go?

I was on my second tumbler last night. Watched a little Bob Ross, some "I Dream of Jeannie" then saw it was on all the channels. Never a dull moment with Trump. Will go down in history as the president with the most assassination attempts. Future Jeopardy question.
