Come on down. You're the next contestant on The Trump Is Right!

I notice the closer we get to the midterms Trump starting to announce cash giveaways to various groups.  $500 checks to about 1 million Americans who overpaid Obamacare premiums.  Now he's giving away $90 to about 20 million seniors to help with Medicare costs.  What will it be tomorrow $50 to cover Fancy Feast?

Don't know if I qualify for anything yet.  Do I get to spin the wheel?

  1. Come on down - maybe gasoline, heating oil, groceries, health insurance and Trump taking early retirement.

  5. Funny you should mention that. I've been on a peanut binge lately. Got tired of chips and they take up less room in the cabinet. Goes good with the CB.

  6. Filling that thing up with gas though. That has to cost a pretty penny.

  7. My latest is double dipped chocolate peanuts. Nuts are supposed to be
full of nutrients and fiber. Not sure about the chololate.

  10. In other news what's up with the plague? What is this the Middle Ages?

  11. Sure was. But US, Russia and England have been fiddling with the Pasturella Pestis (or Yersinia Pestis as it is now termed.) Biological weapon wise, it is 80% lethal. But it does need a certain type of female flea to carry and spread. Never the less, the Mrs. and I got our covid and flu shots this morning and the indoor cat has no fleas.

  12. Some things I thought were of the past relegated to the archives of history. Bubonic plague, measles more or less (I thought). Am I gonna be reading about leper colonies on my phone soon?

  13. Ever wonder why medicine isn't more advanced? Like we reach a certain point and stop. Still can't cure rabies although in extremely rare cases a protocol worked. Was jumping around Google and the main reason given is we have no antiviral drugs that can pass the blood/brain barrier. My natural thought at that point was we can't find something that does pass the barrier? It's like modern medicine reaches a status quo point and we accept it or as Chris Rock once said we don't cure diseases anymore?
