I kinda admire Romney at the NAACP convention in Houston

I didn't think he had it in him but he took it up the ass, ripped into ObamaCare and said how his policies are especially bad for African-Americans.  Of course everyone hooted and hollered like he just insulted Mother Teresa.  President Obama is so taking the black vote for granted and why shouldn't he that he sent Biden down there instead.  That'd be funny though if he said something stupid.  So when is it acceptable to criticize a black president?  I say when the jobless rate is still over 8% it's fair game and when a president is this weak liberals using the Race Card just looks plain stupid.  I'm not quite sure how Conservatism got linked up with the whole racism charge in the first place, didn't Charlton Heston once march with the Rev. Martin Luther King?  I read somewhere recently that Bill Maher has accused Matt Drudge of racism for constantly going after Obama.  I think with Maher it's not so much humor anymore, he's way past the Mort Sahl stage.  It's not funny or entertaining and now he's just venting a distorted anger, some chronic mental masturbator.  Put another way I'll take a Seinfeld or even a Jon Stewart.  Chris Brown and Drake fighting over a girl, I'm no fan of Chris Brown but it wasn't right what Drake did.  Now it comes out that Rihanna is into S&M and so maybe Chris Brown was confused when he hit her.  Fat uninsured folk, I think liberals are guilty of hate here.  Again kudos to Romney and he kept on rappin' too, I love it.  IF Romney does make Condi Rice the VP that's a heavy 2-fer, she's black and she's a woman.  Look sometimes you gotta counteract these things, it's not like somebody's gonna call her a house nigger -

right?

  1. Maybe he can appoint John Bolton as Secretary of State and we can get on with WWIII.

  2. Incumbent war-monger 46%; challenger war-monger 45%.

Odds there will be blood: 100%

  3. But soap at least give the man credit for continuing to talk and rip Obama at a convention of African-Americans. Just put your Purist's hat down for one minute, I'm not saying you gotta like the man just that was cool.

  4. Hey soap you know what they say nothing is better for unemployment than a little war.

  5. It's not about being a puritan. It's about living and acting in accordance with your own values. If you like war and debt then vote accordingly.

If not then choose another path. The choice is yours to make.

  6. I agree, Romney speaking at NAACP showed political courage. Heck,
    it's like a white-haired priest
trying to teach calculus to a class
    of high-schoolers that aren't interested....

  7. " Condi Rice the VP that's a heavy 2-fer, she's black and she's a woman.." ..and pro-choice.
    ..Nuff said?

  8. But Chris you already pointed out that the incumbent is a war monger so what's the diff? And how to you decide that Romney is one anyway?

I judge a person by the content of their character, but also when judging a politician you have to consider their policies. It is these two factors that I look at when considering President Obama, and in my book he shouldn't be elected class clown let alone the highest office in our nation!

  9. My opinion on Obamacare..
Now let me get this straight and please correct me if I’m wrong. . . ..
We're going to be "gifted" with a health care plan we are forced to purchase and
    fined if we don't!
Which, purportedly covers at least ten million more people, without adding a single new doctor, but provides for 16,000 new IRS agents,
written by a committee whose chairman says he doesn't understand it,
passed by a Congress that didn't read it and told us to vote for it so that we could read it,(and then went ahead and exempted themselves from it),
and signed by a Dumbo President who smokes, with funding administered by a treasury chief who didn't pay his taxes, for which we'll be taxed for four years before any
benefits take effect, by a congress which has
already bankrupted Social Security and Medicare, all to be overseen by an obese surgeon general and financed by a country that's broke!!

What the hell could possibly go wrong?

  10. Not to change the subject, but if Jesse Jackson was my Father I'd try to kill myself too.

  11. "But Chris you already pointed out that the incumbent is a war monger so what's the diff?"

    Exactly. What IS the difference?

"And how to you decide that Romney is one anyway?"

Based upon his support of the policies and the words which have come directly from his mouth.

  12. BB: "It's like a white-haired priest trying to teach calculus to a class of high-schoolers that aren't interested."

Which in a nutshell is the whole problem with Higher Education these days. Look BB maybe something got lost in the translation, yes calculus is a bona-fide field and it does have uses, it will stand some people in good practical stead but I'm not one of them. Probably not most Americans either so we really need to change our thinking on the conventional wisdom of forcing such subjects on the student body. You make it sound like I'm anti-calculus I'm simply telling you I've never used it in my life and don't foresee myself using it. IF you find a use for it God bless and happy differentials:)

  13. Re Condi Rice as possible VP choice BB again: "and pro-choice".

Actually if I recall what she said goes something along the lines of abortion is so not her thing, she's more into public service. Abortion got brought up in my workplace once or twice and I made my feelings felt which was not my position but why are we even discussing this in the workplace?? I think she's probably a choicer but really feels the way I did at the job, can we get down to the business at hand?

  14. I've been meaning to say something here, reading over some recent Pat M blog entries I detect a strong, a really pronounced soapster influence. I mean the two of you were always libertarian but he was rather libertarian-lite imo now the two of you are on the record as no way are you gonna vote for Romney. Allow me to put it in perspective:

I admire your idealism the two of you, it makes sense in alot of ways so here's the dilemma. You two admit Obama is a liberal big-time, I think Pat has been more outspoken in this area and casually refers to him as the Marxist so here's the basic prob and it doesn't mean Romney is the greatest thing since a frozen yogurt sandwich: ok so we all hate Obama but none of us are gonna vote for Romney either, just sayin' and so millions of us conservatives are gonna go with Whoever, throw in Maury Povich if you like. Now this is all theoretical but if we all saw the wisdom of you and Patrick M Obama would be a practical shoo-in, may as well be lining up Alicia Keys to sing at his next inaugural ball and have Damon and Clooney and the usual suspects on the bill. I'm just sayin' how does this help the Overall Sit'chation, again just sayin':)

  15. If you can't figure it out on your own then I can't help you.

I guess you'd do just as well to ask yourself how supporting a suck ass GOP candidate time and time again is going to help your sit'chation?

If it's gonna suck then let it suck under the Dems policies.

    ReplyDelete
  16. The fact is, that Obama a disciple of Saul Alinsky, admirer of a coterie of Marxists, Black radicals, and other professional haters of America, and Whites--has the major media sewn up. He has public employee unions that are going to be energized because of Scott Walker in Wisconsin. His minions will also fire up the African-American and Latin communities about racism. Given Obama's Chicago background, he'll have no problems with dead people and illegal aliens voting for him.

I'm voting for Romney because I don't think this election is one in which I can afford a protest vote--but I'm still pessimistic.

  17. soapie: "You'd do just as well to ask yourself how supporting a suck ass GOP candidate time and again is going to help your sit'chation?"

That's assuming he sucks. My gut tells me he's at least better than a Bob Dole. OK now if this were a presidential election of lesser importance and not Obama by which I mean if the Democratic incumbent president were bad in a general liberal sense but not The Horrors...mmm I could kinda see your and Patrick M's logic here, maybe. However the reality is it's Obama and so young man practical considerations hold sway.

  18. "If it's gonna suck then let it suck under the Dem's policies."

& hope the Masses see the light, doesn't always work that way. Look things haven't improved under Obama (mainly the economy) but there's still folks out there who are gonna vote for him. I think your theory is let the roof cave in on their watch and then the masses will suddenly shift gears and vote libertarian. I'm not getting your overall theory and like the conservative poster above me said we can't afford a protest vote this time 'round.

    ReplyDelete
  19. Striking to me how little faith you church going folks really have in humanity. I don't expect the masses to shift gears. If they do great. If not then let them wither on the vine.

  20. Obama is a lying, cheating, America hating, Socialist, rat bastard. That just about sums it up.

    ReplyDelete
  21. But if that's the case then soap is saying let him win anyway by voting for someone other than Romney. Still not getting the theory.

    ReplyDelete
  22. You'll never get the theory Z cuz you haven't stepped outside of the box.

    ReplyDelete
  23. Dude I live outside the box.

    ReplyDelete
  24. Not if you're trying to make a moral or rational justification for Mitt Rmoney.

    ReplyDelete
  25. It's a practical justification. It ain't a perfect world like I've recently had two bosses I didn't care for but in the final calculus I'd take one over the other. Apparently you're down with Obama winning because then, how does your theory go again?
