Conservatives who want to bring the war front and center into the '08 presidential race need to consider Hillary's future Democratic victory acceptance speech as screened through the z-man truth filter:
Let's oil up the abortion machines. Let's tune 'em up, get 'em going, change the filters. Line the kids up.....People who masturbate your mind
Which war you talking about z,man, the War on Terror, the war in Iraq (which some people do not think is part of the War on Terror) or the Culture War?
ReplyDeleteUgh, if Hillary becomes president, not only will the abortion machines be running full tilt, but our socialized medical system will be paying for it. The whole thought of her in the Oval Office nauseates me.

ReplyDeleteI say, beth, that will be the very LEAST of your worries!
My point is that maybe the social conservatives will soon become more restless for Bush to end the war, it is a losing issue after all with the majority of voters if the last returns are any indication, and they would much rather talk about the Culture War. So far Bush isn't listening.
ReplyDeletewell we better end the war by 2008 or we are going to have a Demorat President..
ReplyDeleteI consider myself a social conservative (with a hint of fiscal conservativism thrown in for good measure), but I don't see where abandoning the war in Iraq will make the problems go away.
ReplyDeleteNo it won't go away, I said that because of what just happened in the recent election.

btw, Cisco, I agree with you.
