I pardon thee son

President Biden pardoned son Hunter who pleaded guilty to nine federal tax charges and was convicted on three gun charges.  Reverberations on Capitol Hill as expected.  I really don't have an issue.  Blood is thicker than water.

  3. What's up when a liquor store doesn't open on time? Me and this old guy are waiting.

    1. You gotta make em compete - order from Amazon and the booze delivery drone lands on your porch.

    2. What gets me is they got a sign on the door with the store hours. Why don't they say times are approximate?

  5. I never understood this. Are they watching porn? I could wake up with pains in my body and still go to work on time.

I have a newer vet but the older one I used to go to you go there early for your appointment and the vet people come in late sometimes a half hour. Is this any way to run a business? Are they out diddying?

  6. Repubs in an uproar over this but consider if Biden hadn't pardoned his own son. Family gatherings around the holidays only Hunter ain't there because he's in prison. Wife Jill says you had the chance to pardon him. For me it's not a hard call.

  7. I know a number of gun owners that do drugs. No charges, unless you
    are famous, i guess.

    1. Wisconsin deer hunters for sure. Couple near by, kids came up from Boise for Thanksgiving. The whole bunch took to the woods for a pilgrim live off the land hunt and fish. Two days and a night in the frost. Got one quail. Had that and McDonalds for their sit down dinner. To each their own?

  9. Apparently Biden isn't worried about running again. Although Trump
pardoned 143 and no one cared.

  10. I'm more concerned that Biden said to Zelensky that he can shoot our long-range missiles into Russia. Pardons will always be controversial.

    1. Russia has been doing that for months to Ukraine. Like making a boxer find with one hand. Putin now has a N Korean Division in the line. Zelensky has a couple milkmaids and a first grade class. Ya gotta have some empathy, man. Or not, if you have no horses in the race.

    2. So get the US involved? My empathy is on the side of not having a nuclear war,

      man.

  11. Geopolitics? Yes, we blew a lot of SSS and lives in Korea, Viet Nam, Iraq and for what? Figure any nuclear war would start in the Holy Land- been constant war there since David & Goliath. Like Einstein noted,
after WWIII, we will still be at it, but with sticks and stones.

  12. Is it me, or is the Holy Land one Hell hole of constant combat?

  13. Never on my vacation list.

Bibi has thanked Trump for threatening Hamas. What's Trump gonna do destroy Gaza more than it's destroyed already?
