US Rep. Lauren Boebert is talking about some of the unredacted Epstein Files. Were the world's criminal elite into eating human flesh in addition to the sex trafficking of underage girls? Alleged code phrases like beef jerky keep popping up in emails. A restaurant called "The Cannibal." Getting off on torture? There is the old adage truth is stranger than fiction but we really don't know what to believe at this point. Our whole political landscape has become increasingly surreal. I remember a time when politics was boring. Your eyes would glaze over watching the PBS Newshour. Now it's like a Gothic novel.

Bad experience with a plumbing company. Installed new smart water meter but didn't insulate it. It froze and leaked during the last cold snap. My brother contacted another company. No more frozen pipes but still the issue with getting a new meter. Ongoing saga. The bad plumbers are Better Business Bureau accredited but have received tons of bad reviews. Does the BBB stand for anything anymore? My days of going by what they say are over.

DeletePut a new flush valve on my toilet once. Put that Shein dining table together with 100 parts in like 20 minutes. Today made a temporary contraption around that leaky meter so we have at least temporary running water and don't have to live like ferals. A Blessing!
