It's not a conspiracy theory it's just common sense

 Reading just now according to the FBI and DOJ there is no Jeffrey Epstein client list after all.  Does not exist.  Interesting.  A convicted sex trafficker with no johns or customers.  Not one name to be published not even some unknown millionaire.  How did Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell stay in business all those years running this criminal enterprise with no clients?  Trump Administration painting this as a conspiracy theory from the Right (turns on his own base when convenient) but it's not it's just logical.  No record keeping whatsoever?  I never engaged in wild speculation about who could be on the List just that I never heard of an organized criminal not keeping files of some sort.  Also why are they saying this now so late in the game but nothing of this sort was said at the beginning?  It's like they're bullshitting their way through.

Trump promised to drain the swamp.  He IS the swamp.  Perhaps the most corrupt Administration in history.

Not sure Netanyahu knows what a ceasefire is

 Someone should crack open a dictionary for him.  The news it's hard to keep pace anymore.  Musk forming his own political party.  Fringe activist Laura Loomer now an unofficial national security advisor.  God help us!  Flooding in TX.  They're saying the Trump cuts didn't help they made things worse.  Dunno are we still working on cancer?  Homan is out of control but he goes to church every week.  Wreak social havoc and then take your soul to the cleaners every Sunday.  A president being mediocre is not the issue for me it's the sheer weirdness of this Administration.   All you can do is take up a hobby in the meantime and hope it passes quickly.  Not sure why he still has fans.

The DOGE cuts make no sense in light of the big beautiful bill just signed into law

 It's like all those federal workers lost their jobs for nothing.  No rhyme or reason.  It's a philosophical contradiction and politically incoherent.  It'd be like a household with a strict budget scrimping and saving and cutting barely able to pay the mortgage and property tax but then decides to subscribe to cable or satellite TV and add five new credit cards.  I know there are actually households like that.  Big difference is we don't have a government printing press.

Trumpism is not conservatism.  It's just a bunch of mad fantasies.  The weird Right is already selling Alligator Alcatraz merch.  Ron DeSantis is the creepy flavor of the month.  Hello big blue wave come next year.  Cults always fail in the end.

A busload of 'hos crossing state lines

 Diddy cleared of sex trafficking and racketeering but convicted of transportation of prostitutes.  Judge denied Diddy bail prior to sentencing.  Prosecutors now seeking about a 5 year sentence on the 'ho transportation.  Basically a show trial to what purpose?  Weak case.  Maybe Diddy can run for Mayor.

Trump is like if your crazy uncle got elected president

 Maybe we're giving Trump too much credit for following a totalitarian model.  Clearly there is something wrong with the man.  If Trump wasn't a Hitler during his first term why do leftists act so perplexed that people voted to give Trump a second term?  It's not on us.  People voted for Jimmy Carter and he didn't turn out great.  Yeah a little apples and oranges there.  I just wanted to take a fresh approach from the usual tired old and predictable BB commentary.  I have seen floated online, on YouTube where else that President Trump is actually in cognitive decline.  This liberal channel goes further and says Trump is also exhibiting the neurological symptoms of a mental disorder.  Just look at this Truth Social rants and now he wants to arrest and deport Mamdani if he's elected Mayor of NYC.  This is truly bizarre or is the BB analysis enough here?  Look the man is old.  I'm leaning more towards a health explanation myself but I'm open to suggestions. 

In defense of voting for Trump

 Small but growing rift among conservatives.  A realization that many of Trump's latest actions suck for lack of a better way of putting it.  Joe Rogan has come out against the ICE raids.  Not sure if technically he's a conservative.  MTG has been busy blasting Trump over the bombing of Iran's nuclear sites.  Candace Owens told Piers Morgan that she is now embarrassed she told other people to vote for Trump.  Then there's Tucker.  OK.

What I'm seeing on some of the more liberal YouTube channels is gloating among the Left ("We told you so") and even anger at those who voted for Trump but who now have regrets.  It was all out there in the open they say.  Not really.  Trump's first term was fairly normal as a frame of reference.  Re the ICE raids JD Vance was directly asked, what was it during the VP debate what the plans were for the majority of illegal aliens who are not criminals.  He pointedly would not answer the question.  The overwhelming emphasis during the campaign was always on the criminal element.  As for bombing Iran Trump campaigned on the exact opposite no foreign wars ot entanglements in the Middle East.  America First.  Now to the real bone of contention.  Many libs take issue with having been called crazy and exaggerating for the things they said about Trump during the campaign, the whole TDS thing.  Yes because they used specifically Hitlerian rhetoric.  Technically though while Trump is many things technically he's still not a Hitler.  Has a ways to go if you know your history.

At least give those of us credit and some points for now admitting mistakes no?  That's how you grow.  Not hearing the same regrets about Biden.

The ascendancy of the weird Right - it now IS the Right

 The latest examples being "Alligator Alcatraz" and those racist conservatives who want to deport NYC Mayoral candidate Zohran Mamdani.  My friend has imbibed deeply of the Fox News propaganda.  For him Iran was on the verge, the very cusp of developing an intercontinental ballistic missile with a nuclear warhead to hit NYC.  For Mark Levin if you opposed Trump bombing Iran's nuclear facilities you're an unpatriotic American.  Levin gives off this vague creepy psycho vibe and said to MTG after their recent dust-up "you're on my radar."  Hmmmmm......Hannity is somewhat milder but his aging blockhead fills the screen as he constantly beats the drums for war in the Middle East or at least a bomb here and there.  The Senate now seems okay with Trump's giant sausage of a bill thus mortgaging our future and our children's future.  Musk continues to attack the bill and he is right for once.  At this rate the midterms may turn out to be a big blue tsunami.  The rise of Mamdani represents a left-wing populism not to be ignored.

It's all very depressing but this too shall pass.  Hopefully next time we'll get somebody better.

 Former and disgraced Governor of NYS Andrew Cuomo refuses to accept the fate of the politically damned.  Despite a healthy second place showing in the recent NYC Mayoralty Primary voting he lost to the Zohran.   The groper is very ambitious.  He now plans to run against Mamdani as an independent.  Mamdani has rocked the political establishment.   Conservative commentator Charlie Kirk thinks he's a terrorist and some Republicans want him stripped of his US citizenship and deported.  Could be Homan's next project.  Special assignment for Homan's Raiders.  Trump is looking into ways of disqualifying him for being a communist.  Sweet McCarthyism!  All for not being a Zionist.  For his part Cuomo is willing to serve on Benjamin Netanyahu's legal defense team before the ICC should it come to that.  You can't cancel Mamdani out though.  As even my rock-ribbed conservative friend says give the people what they want.

How best to describe Trump's second term?  Conservative Candace Owens who voted for Trump as did I recently told Piers Morgan Trump is "a chronic disappointment. "  That about fits.

I was having some trouble sleeping and thought it was my mattress

 Mark Levin over at Fox says we can all sleep better at night knowing Trump took out Iran's nuclear facilities.  Turns out we don't need the My Pillow guy after all.  MTG rips Trump a new one.  She may have said some loopy things in the past but she's 100% right.  Same with Tucker.  Some dispute over the exact damage to those three Iranian nuclear facilities.  Not exactly obliterated despite the hyperbole.  Also Trump's big mouth gave them advanced notice to put the enriched uranium someplace else.  Neocon warmongers who never picked up a rifle themselves.  Hannity probably wouldn't even know what to do with a home intruder.  Fox News - We Decide Then Report;)

Don't mess with the Zohran.  Former dishonored Governor of NYS Andrew Cuomo yesterday lost the Democratic NYC Mayoralty primary race to this guy Zohran Mamdani who I never heard of.  I'm guessing Cuomo has some kind of law background to fall back on or maybe his brother Chris can help.  Maybe he can become the custodian at an auto dealership or slice deli meats.  It appears a fair number of New Yorkers still wanted him as Mayor but that's it for the comeback groper.  Maybe he can run for Yonkers Sidewalk Commissioner.

 Iran did not threaten us.  We were not at war with them.  Iranian Foreign Minister meets with Putin although other reports say Russia is unlikely to enter the conflict.  UPI reports however that other countries are willing to supply Iran with nukes after Trump's act of bellicosity.  Now as we all know Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard recently testified before Congress that it is the consensus of the intelligence community that Iran is not seeking nuclear weapons as the Ayatollah suspended that program in 2003.  After Trump dumped on Tulsi however she now says new intelligence has come to light (read: whatever Netanyahu says) in order to keep her post.  Call her Flipper.  People can't withstand the wrath of the Orange Man I guess.  I get concerned when I'm running low on the Christian Brothers.  For Hegseth it's the hair gel.  The last question when does Trump take Greenland?

Every president likes to use the military

 But Trump promised to be different so why throw rocks at a junkyard dog?  Trump campaigned as an anti-neocon non-interventionist America Firster.  Instead we get a saber-rattling Israel First foreign policy, impulsive interventionism.  Trump has claimed on his Truth Social overwhelming success in totally obliterating Iran's three nuclear facilities.  He has ignored the advice of his own Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard who recently testified before Congress that Iran was really not that close to developing an actual nuclear weapon.  She's probably on her way out.  Now we have to worry about a protracted conflict with Iran and possible terrorist reprisals.  Pakistan has just nominated Trump for a Nobel Peace Prize why I don't know.  Troubling times but kind of took Homan off the front pages.

 It's amazing how much time the news devotes to the weather.  At the top of most newscasts these days.  "A house exploded in Brooklyn today but first we have a weather alert."  They constantly catastrophize normal weather patterns.  It's gonna be hot it's gonna be cold it's gonna rain.  So next four days it's gonna be in the 90s up here in the Northeast with some humidity.  OK.  Gotta talk about it every 15 minutes though.  It's not like it's never happened before.  Lots of the more celeb weather people pull in good salaries I guess they gotta put on a show.  Unless there's gonna be a major weather event the weather should be treated  more like sports.  I don't understand the jetstream I just wanna know if I should bring an umbrella with me today or not.

Is it anti-semitic to not want to go to war with Iran?

 Trump mulling over possible strikes against Iran including the use of bunker busting bombs to target Iranian nuclear facilities.  What happened to no new wars and America First?  An Iranian missile struck a major hospital in southern Israel.  Oh the humanity!  Meanwhile Netanyahu just attacked Gaza's last functioning hospital.  Never fully understood countries with nuclear weapons telling other countries they can't have nuclear weapons.  What only we know how to use atomic bombs in a moral way?  All that and more on today's episode of Stranded.

 It's all so confusing.  Just the other day President Trump directed all ICE offices to NOT conduct workplace raids at agricultural sites, hotels and restaurants.   Now CNN reports ICE will continue doing just that.  Is Trump's whole term going to revolve around chasing down the illegals?  That's not feasible or practical or cost effective.   Now I go on YouTube and Homan is holding yet  another press briefing urging the aliens to go on the app and self-deport.  Get your affairs in order the stern one warns.  Nothing constructive.  You can't make this shit up.  How many illegals are buried in cemeteries?  Does he want to dig them up too and send them home?  What would Jesus do?  No immigration reform, no path to citizenship just paleo-conservatism at its most rabid.  Why do I get the impression ICE enjoys their work a little too much?  Do they need a shaving of Prozac?

The Home Depot - how Tom Homan gets more done

 Trump now says we have to use lots of common sense about the illegals.  The migrant farm workers and those in the hospitality and leisure industries are essential workers hard to replace they're telling him.  Will we see a change in direction, of tone? So Trump is still lagging behind Biden's deportation numbers this is not a sports contest.  Homan and crew should be helping them pick the vegetables and ask them how their day is going not loading them into paddy wagons.  Homan laying down the law at a press briefing.  There's no grayscale with him just be a hardass.  Watched some NYC ICE footage last night on the news.  The always masked ICE agents lack simple basic professionalism and seem to have an apelike intelligence.  Dr. Phil has sure taken a hard turn to the Right but he's from Texas.  As they used to say in the Old West f#@k you and the horse you rode in on.

 Musk has expressed misgivings, deleted some tweets and says he may have gone too far.  Trump says he might be open to a reconciliation.  Defense Sec'y Hegseth says the US has contingency plans to occupy Greenland if necessary.   Israel attacked Tehran targeting their nuclear facilities and chain of command.  ICE agents are chasing farm laborers through strawberry fields and going into meat production plants.  Big military parade tomorrow.   Trump's birthday.  DHS Sec'y Kristi Noem doesn't like to be interrupted.  What's up with Dr. Phil?

Trump is at war with his own country

 It might be any day now Marines come up the Hudson River to land at the Yonkers City Pier.  As I said in my last post the majority of today's conservatives ain't that freedom loving to begin with.  Yes I'm looking at you Hannity.  They have no issues with the Trump Administration censoring pro-Palestinian speech on campus.  They're ok with the Administration monitoring the social media posts of foreign students.  They're down with the possible militarization of major US cities in response to the growing ICE protests.  No libertarian concerns whatsoever.

One of the first things any would be dictator/fascist does is go after freedom of speech.  MAGA is just a bunch of gutless wonders, a cult at this point.  In my view Trump is a hater and a joyless prick no matter how FOX News and Dr. Phil try to spin it.

Gen. Trump wants to send more troops into American cities

 I guess the National Guard isn't good enough.  I thought they were troops.  Trump wants to militarize more US cities in response to the growing ICE protests coast to coast.  ICE is actually a kind of rogue agency created in the wake of 9/11, an offshoot of DHS.  Basically what Trump wants to do is set up a police, a military state with a vast ai surveillance system, an Orwellian database of every single living American courtesy of Palantir Tech.  Laura Loomer is down with this.  So why do the vast majority of conservatives still support Trump despite these existential threats to freedom and privacy?  They're not really that libertarian to begin with.  This is not to say they need to be full-blown libertarian but they should be more libertarian than they are.  More stuff should bother them but it doesn't.  Instead they constantly fall back on blaming the media and the Democrats.  So what happens if Trump gives the go-ahead for Marines to shoot rioters in US cities?  Will Charlie Kirk cheer?
