I am sympathetic with the whole Fat Acceptance Movement. I don't make fat jokes and if you're in that category you don't need people constantly reminding you of your state, as if you didn't know. BUT it ain't good for your health in the long-term.
Reading a leaflet the other day, obesity is a major factor in hypertension or high blood pressure and I have seen heavy people not even make an attempt to watch what they eat or even have it as a goal anymore to shed a few. Ultimately there is a danger in this whole movement, it's like it's the polar opposite of anorexia acceptance.
