The Freedom of Choice Act

Interesting that Obama has spent so much time on health-care "reform" when he had made a promise at some Planned Parenthood confab a few years back that signing the FOCA into law would be the first act he'd do, Priority Numero Uno. Everyone (libs included) should start seeing him for the bullshit artist he is. Gotta laugh though, when Obama was elected many in the liberal msm sounded the death knell for conservatism as a movement, funny how a few fringe people can derail such a massive project as health-care reform. He tackled too much too soon, wanted to ram everything through and couple impatience with arrogance and it ain't a good combination. Conservatism was never really dead, just waiting for the right moment to reenergize itself and as for FOCA I'd be really surprised at this point if anybody brings it up. With 40 million+ abortions to date since 1973 where is the legislative urgency? Obama has been a boon to the conservative movement so be glad he was elected. We as a country got to Make History and we get our country back too, not a bad deal by any stretch!

  1. I do find it ironic that when Obama was elected liberals gloated and bragged about how things were going to be. They miscalculated a bit! The conservative movement is stronger than it has been in a really long time and it is wonderful! Obama was the best thing that ever happened to conservatives! Thanks for visiting and your comment and I hope to see you again!

  2. The jury is still out. Much will depend on what long-term stuff he gets passed, if any. Health care reform, cap and trade, illegal immigration reform, all these issues at a minimum HAVE to be defeated. All three are just about irreversable once passed. Add to that list keeping North Korea and Iran nuke-free. If either of them get nukes you KNOW they won't give them up. Yup, the jury is still out and we have a loooooong 3 1/2 years left!

  3. I think the health-care thing is pretty much dead at this point but they can't exactly say so. Americans don't seem to want socialized medicine and before you know it the midterms will be here. Politicians if nothing else are practical being the whores they are.

  5. You'd think libs would get it by now but that's how dyed-in-the-wool they are. It's now almost universally agreed that we live in a Center/Right country, maybe this Obama guy was elected because he came across as nice but that's it. We gave the guy a chance and he's showing his true liberal colors so what part of we're a Center/Right country don't they understand?
